Conference Fee

European Model United Nations tries to keep costs of participation as low as possible and continuously works on offering special arrangements for prospective applicants related to their stay in Maastricht.

The EuroMUN conference fee amounts to 60 € and includes the participation fee, conference material, daily lunch and refreshments for the entire duration of the conference as well as social events. Further partnerships and offers are actively sought.

Application Periods

Applications will be solely based on an online form where applicants will have to state their preferences for countries/committees. Chairmen/woman applications will have to write a letter of motivation and send a CV. 

Applications for EuroMUN 2008 are on a first-come-first served basis. Please bear in mind that the above application periods are valid only until the maximum number of delegates has been reached. The application procedure will be closed after the conference has filled its capacity.

However, due to a frequent possibility of delegates dropping out, a waiting list will be offered to those delegates still considering to apply upon the closing of the procedure. Confirmation of Applications and Allocation of Preferences

The EuroMUN secretariat will process applications only upon the receipt of payment. As soon as we have received your payment we will confirm the completion of your application and assign you a country.

In not more than 7 working days upon the receipt of payment you will be allocated your country. Please bear in mind that the country allocation is on a first-come-first-served basis, hence, we will not be able to guarantee that you will receive your favourite country. However, we will do our best to satisfy your preferences and show a great degree of flexibility. 

Certain countries that are the main stakeholders in the international political arena or enjoy a great degree of popularity will be allocated first to an organized delegation. It is in your own interest if you want to represent such a country to form together with your friends a delegation comprising not less then 6 participants.

Visas

For all prospective participants requiring a visa for the entry into the EU the EuroMUN secretariat will be glad to provide necessary invitation letters and any other required documentation upon the participant’s request.

Please bear in mind that for such a request to be processed we will need a certificate of enrolment from your educational institution and if necessary a copy of your passport. Take into account that the submission of invitation letters and any other documentation is at our discretion.
